I hope your Ramadan has been full of blessings, clemency and enlightenment. That you and your families found yourselves in good health. I pray we all achieve the purification of our souls this month.
SoubhanAllah our blessed month of Ramadan has flown by! With just about four days of fasting left it's already time to think about Eid. I absolutely love this holiday, it brings families together Alhamdoulilah. I found a few crafts to celebrate this wonderful holiday that I wanted to share with you guys.
1. Mason Lantern
It's fairly easy to make these cute lanterns. All you need is a mason jar and puffy paint! Just look up your favourite henna design online and recreate it with the puffy paint on your jar. You can use these lanterns to decorate your house for a Eid party or give them away as gifts.
2. Rice Krispies
My aunties always spend hours in the kitchen to make piles and piles of beautiful cookies to give out on Eid but you can keep it pretty simple too with these good old Rice Krispies.
What you need is:

What you need is:
- 4 cups rice cereal
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Heat the honey, peanut butter, vanilla and salt in a pan on low heat until it all melts together.
- Pour the rice cereal into a large bowl and pour melted honey and peanut butter over it. Stir together.
- Press into the baking pan HARD using either a rubber spatula or your hands with parchment paper.
- Let cool and cut into desired shapes.
